"Gus"

"Gus" is a psychological thriller Directed by Michael Plescia and starring Nicole DeSantis shot entirely on the Ikonoscop A-Cam dll. The film follows a young woman's nervous breakdown after losing custody of her beloved dog to her estranged husband. As she discovers his plan to euthanize the dog out of spite, she escapes with the dog to her family's remote cabin. Once there, she finds that her father's old journal entries describe unsettling similarities in his psychological breakdown and his relationship to his own dog's death. When the woman's husband appears mysteriously at the cabin claiming that it is inhumane to keep the old dog alive, the woman realizes that she must figure out what aspects of her experience are real and what is part of her mental downward spiral.
The film was shot with equipment from TAC Digital Cinema in Los Angeles.
