I was wondering if the audio inputs have a mic and line level input or whether they are line only requiring an outboard preamp?

Do you guys have an answer on this one..important if you need the occasional use of microphones direct into the camera without a mixer!

If you just wait a few weeks, these questions should be answered.

If late December is met as a ship date, I will receive mine in about four weeks, not alot of time to sort out accessories. I would think that if the camera has a preamp for this purpose it would have been in the design for some time. I thought it a simple question that would have a simple answer.

I'm wondering about this as well. I am not familiar with LEMO connectors or how I would use a phantom powered mic in unison with them. I assume I will need a mixer that offers phantom power. Is this true if I want to record audio into the camera?
