I'm sure lots of modern configs would take care of it. It seems like it would hard to cut as straight DNG sequences, though, you'd have to transcode to something else first.

I understand cineform will be writing software to allow there remaster program to write DNG into cineform RAW. Equally the remaster allows for transcode into prores. Both of these scenarios of course coulod be used for offline with the original DNG files being conformed in AE by using automatic duck etc. In either of these scenarios the drive requirments and system speed are nothing extrordinary...it just depends on how much you want to wait for DPX export etc.
