Getting properly balanced color from dng raw file is a real issue. magenta/cyan is very dominant in most of the shootings. |

A camera calibration needed as moving the slider towards the cyan side and a defringe needed on highlight edges. Also split toning could be an option to add green to highlights. |

Yes, i mean in camera raw there is tab called camera calibration, in that tab, -50 to shadows slider, +50 to red primary hue and -20 to red primary saturation,will bring the image to a pretty nice point to start cc, imho. |

My programs can ignore the DNG meta-data and do a calibration from scratch to avoid any issues with the light type vs. meta-data. If you want to see a sample conversion you can contact me about sending a DNG frame and I can look at the actual raw histograms to see what exposure issues there might be... |
