Have you tested different lens with the camera. Can you give a list of zooms and primes that you think will fit best with the camera in-terms of performance and ergonomics.

thanks great work

This question shoudl not be asked under normal circumstances, as if the camera mount matches the lens mount, ALL such lenses should work fine. In the case of his tiny camera, however, the smaller/lighter the lens you use, the better off you are.

Keep in mind, however, that the A-cam dll has a 2/3-inch sized sensor and not a Super 16mm film frame size sensor. In other words, its sensor is SMALLER than the S16 film frame is. This means that when you add a lens to this camera, you are losing focal length, namely, your ulra wide angle short focal lens will become a regular wide angle lens. So, for insrtance, your 6mm wide angle may become an 8mm wide angle, you are losing quite a bit of your angle of view with it.

Since this csmera has a 2/3-inch sensor, you would need to match it with a 2/3-inch (B4) ENG lens or cine-style manual B4-mounted lens. Unfortunately, B4 is not one of the mounts that this camera can be equipped with.

This tiny camera needs the mini rods, anyhow, like the ones sold by Zacuto in the USA and by its German accessory maker competitors...

Let's get your terminology correct. No lens loses focal length from one camera to another. The sensor size gives the same lens a different angle of view for a given focal length.
