A-Cam dII
Why compress the reality
The A-Cam dll is one of the few cameras on the market today able of providing uncompressed RAW recording in the camera. This means that you will let the camera do the capturing and your computer do the image processing. It's really as simple as that.
High Definition
When recording HD in 1920 x 1080 pixels you can easily master directly to HD-formats like BlueRay, HD-cam, HD-cam SR or any other full HD-format. If you need to print your footage to film, you can use the native 1.78:1 aspect ratio without any loss of pixels. A-Cam dll records just what you need, uncompressed.
Memory Card
The A-Cam dll records the RAW sensor data to memory cards in the camera. The memory card technology is developed by Ikonoskop, and with a sustained writing speed of over 200MB/second, it is one of the fastest memory cards on the market. The 80 GB Ikonoskop Memory Card has a capacity of 15 minutes and 57 seconds recording at 25 fps. The 160 GB Ikonoskop Memory Card has a capacity of 31 minutes and 55 seconds at 25 fps.
Lenses
The A-Cam dll's 16mm sized sensor allows for use of all 16mm and Super-16mm lenses. Together with the P+S Technik IMS mount on the camera this enables you to use a great variety of the best cine lenses available. The technology around the A-Cam dll is built on the knowledge and experience from our acclaimed A-Cam SP-16 motion picture camera.
