Ikonoskop provides contemporary filmmakers with the coolest, lightest and most inspiring tools for professional work on cutting-edge film projects, allowing our customers to do the most interesting work in their fields.
Ikonoskop was founded in 1999 by Göran Olsson and Daniel Jonsäter, both active filmmakers. The company and our products have emerged out of a personal need for new tools for filmmaking. Throughout the journey we have been convinced that there are other people out there with the same needs and cravings for a new expression. We are still active filmmakers and will continue to be.
Our first product is A-Cam, the smallest, lightest and most affordable
Super 16 camera on the market. A-Cam was introduced late 2003. A wide
range of accessories are available and we are currently working on
extending A-Cam functionality with a new range of accessories and new
camera functions.
