It is a CCD. No we don't record TIFF.

Yes it is a Global Shutter CCD! We forgot to specify that in the specs, and we get a lot of questions on this. I think a lot of people understand how much better this is compared to a 'rolling' CMOS.

We have one writing mistake in the spec: We were referering to 12MB TIFF as a frame size after you had opened the 12 bit DNG (3,5MB) in a post tool and saved it as a 16 bit TIFF. That would be roughly 11,9MB on disk.

I have now removed that from the spec - and to clarify - we only record in RAW wrapped as DNG.
