A-Cam SP-16
A-cam SP-16 is the smallest, lightest and most affordable Super-16 film camera in the world. It is compact enough to be carried and used wherever and whenever.
What is Super-16?
Super-16 uses the maximum image available on single perforated, conventional 16 mm film. Super-16 is the most versatile format for high resolution images with a aspect ratio of 1,66:1. This equals 15:9 and is close to the HD-formats aspect of 16:9. Super 16 also offers the option for blow-up to 35-mm for cinematic release. The Super-16 format was developed by Swedish cinematographer Rune Ericson. He was awarded an Oscar for this innovation in 2001.
