A-cam SP-16 Case: Test of new software

18 A-cam SP-16 in perfect sync!

In order to test the latest 1.36 A-cam SP-16 software in combination with our new multi-camera control unit MC-1, a spectacular rig was set up this november at Stockholm Skatepark in Fryshuset.

The 1.36 software allowed us to rig 18 A-cam SP-16's with synchronised shutters in a circle, capturing professional skateboarders Casper Plass and Bob Josteen making stunning tricks.

The MC-1 allowed us not only to capture high end time-slice sequences, but also freeze ANY frame we like and move in and out of time and space without boundaries.
In the shooting we used a frame rate of 25 fps and A-cam SP-16 standard shutter size (i.e. 25 fps equals approx. 18 ms shutter time).
