# A-cam SUB-60 Underwater housing
The A-cam SUB-60 is a modification of AquaCam EX versatile housing, designed for scuba diving and engineered to also meet the demands of all aquatic sports.
Built tough it will allow you to shoot HD film under the deep pressures of scuba diving and the pounding hydraulic forces of whitewater kayaking!
It is depth-rated to 61m and is constructed with a heavy-duty 12mm thick plastic shell, two 13mm thick optical-grade cast acrylic ports, and stainless steel hardware.
The cylindrical shape of the AquaCam EX provides greater strength under pressure than any other shape can provide, and its Single-Seal design requires only one port seal because the rear port is permanently bonded and sealed. If wanted the A-cam SUB-60/AquaCam EX could double as housing for your video camera.
The modification is a special fitting plate, magnetic on and off button and lens aperture control.

# VA-1, Parallel-mounted video-assist
The VA-1 allows framing without looking in to the viewfinder and therefore more flexible and accurate use of A-Cam. The VA-1 is the same small size as the original viewfinder, and is conveniently fitted with the same magnet solution.
The VA-1 includes a calibration-sheet to frame any monitor exactly for any distance/parallax or focal length between 7.5mm and 25mm.The VA-1 has RCA composite output and is powered by the BP-3 battery pack. The VA-1 can also be powered by A-Cam's internal battery
